Tumbaco Valley has all the services or amenities such as drinking water, electricity, sewer systems and telecommunications are available to all its residents of Tumbaco Valley. For this reason it is possible to measure the quality of development in the area.

Transportation:
The most important route that connects Quito with the Valley of Tumbaco is the Interoceanic Avenue by which transit buses of various cooperatives (Tumbaco, Puembo, Pifo, Yaruquí and El Quinche) and a line called the Ecovia, transport people to and from Tumbaco.
The approximate time to get to Quito-Tumbaco by bus is 35 minutes and the ticket costs 0.50 USD.
Culture and Recreation:
Tumbaco is called the center of arts and culture. A variety of crafts such as: handmade teddy bears and dolls, knitting accessories, handmade sweaters and scarves, to name a few. There are works in visual, plastic arts, ceramics and jewelry.
It is the ideal place to enjoy outdoor activities and ecotourism such as hiking, biking and horseback riding. It also offers a diverse range of complex and beautiful restaurants.
Because of the location, it is easy to explore surrounding towns. In addition, Tumbaco is filled with colorful and interesting traditions.
Despite being a small town, Tumbaco has a wide variety of interesting places and contrasts. On one hand there is the typical village life with all its components; artistic shops, simple characters and on the other hand, modern shopping malls, cinemas, gyms, schools, workshops, supermarkets, resorts, excellent bakeries and a hospital with first class technology.
