The Lector Academy began in 1995 in the city of Quito as a language and cultural institute dedicated to the teaching of several languages, among these, Spanish for foreigners. Since then it has been recognized by the Ministry of Education and Cultures of Ecuador and attended more 3000 language travelers. Throughout these years, we have received visitors from around the world, especially Europe, who have often repeated their experience to feel part of the Lectorian family, strengthening their relationship with the country, culture and improving their Spanish with every visit. Now, after 14 years of intense work in our academy in Quito and the constant growth of the city, we decided to change our work to a quieter place, closer to nature and with a warmer climate. Thus we come to the Valley of Tumbaco, located only 14 kilometers from Quito.
